about
Nancy Mace has been a consultant to clients on technology and communications for a decade.
After leaving a career at Accenture, she pursued a masters degree and began a second career in the
world of PR and marketing.
After working on several very high profile issues, on both a national and international level, and after becoming a mom, she decided to venture out and pursue her passions by establishing a consulting business to help organizations with public relations, web and design work.
She has since assembled a team of bright, talented and forward-thinking freelancers to join her in her
quest to build a company that offers many services one can find at an agency, but at the hands of skilled freelancers. We pride ourselves on having something to offer marketing budgets of all sizes.
She is the author of In the Company of Men: A Woman at The Citadel (Simon and Schuster 2001). Pat Conroy, author of the Prince of Tides and Lords of Discipline, dubbed this work "The best book about The Citadel ever written..."
Mace is the first female graduate of The Citadel, the military college of South Carolina. She holds a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Georgia, and a bachelor’s degree in business from The Citadel.
She is a board member of Childspring International, and past president of the Greater Atlanta Citadel Alumni Club; a past district director for The Citadel Alumni Association; past panelist on the 12th Annual Conference of Women in Higher Education; and participant in the Corbin Council conference
on Assimilation of Women at Military Colleges.
She's available for speaking engagements on the subject of crisis communications, public relations
and social media...and of course the subject of The Citadel.
She resides in Atlanta with her husband and two children. |
